Thankful for You! Holiday Goodie Inside!

Hi Reader!

It's T-minus one week until Thanksgiving! Insert "mind blown" emoji! This year has flown by, but it's been a great year. I hope yours has been amazing too!

I'm very slowly gaining momentum on this little business and I'm hoping by next year, I'll have an even bigger email list and a following of people who enjoy the content I share. If you know anyone who might enjoy my content, feel free to share it!

That being said, I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for following my journey. I know it's a little bit rough around the edges right now, but I promise to be more consistent in the new year and to send you more pertinent and interesting articles in the newsletter in the upcoming months. I truly do appreciate you all!

And Now For the Goodies!

For the adults without young kids, I'm sending you this fun Thanksgiving Bucket List. Print it out and see how many you can do in the following week and on Thanksgiving Day! Be sure to reply and let me know how many you were able to check off your list.

And...

For those of you with littles, let's get the holiday's started now with a letter to Santa. Print it out and let them color it and send their list. Did you know... Your child can put their letter in your mailbox addressed to Santa Clause in the North Pole, without postage and the USPS will mail a letter back to them? Anyway, grab the letter below!

Holiday Simmering Potpourri

I know everyone loves a good candle, and so do I! But you can't keep them burning forever. So the second best thing to keep your home smelling lovely, is a simmering pot of yumminess! Here's the recipe. Try it out and let me know if you enjoyed it!

Recipe:

  • 6 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 sliced orange
  • 3-4 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 bay leaves
  • A handful of fresh cloves or 1 teaspoon of powdered cloves

Bring it to a boil and then reduce the heat and simmer for as long as you want the amazing smell to warm your home!

"Gratitude changes everything. It changes the everyday into the extraordinary. It changes the simple into the sublime".

Have a beautiful and blessed Thanksgiving!

Girl's Night Halloween 2024

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Happy Halloween Reader! What are your plans for Halloween this year? We don't have many plans this year, but we'll be trick or treating with little ones this year, so it should be extra fun. My son will be participating in his last trick or treat Halloween. He'll be 16 in December, so it's time to call it quits. He was super excited to hear he'll be home passing out candy next year! NOT! But, with the help of my very talented daughter, we'll be having a super cool party next...

Happy Fourth of July! Happy 4th of July Reader! I hope this email finds you well and that you have a long, relaxing weekend planned. Did you get Friday off of work as well? Either way, I hope you have a safe and fun weekend with friends and family. Fourth of July fun facts: The American flag should only be flown from sunrise to sunset, unless it is illuminated at night. The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. The population of the U.S. was about 2.5 million in...

Hi Reader! So, what the heck happened to March? It's one of the longer months, but it went by so fast, I didn't even get an email out! It's just not fair to have Easter in March! Am I right? Oh well, I'm not going to beat myself up for it. This month, I'm going to practice giving myself some grace. And you should too! In the words of the famous Ferris Bueller, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look. around once in a while, you could miss it.” What I've been up to: March was a...
