Hi Reader!
So, what the heck happened to March? It's one of the longer months, but it went by so fast, I didn't even get an email out! It's just not fair to have Easter in March! Am I right?
Oh well, I'm not going to beat myself up for it. This month, I'm going to practice giving myself some grace. And you should too! In the words of the famous Ferris Bueller, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look. around once in a while, you could miss it.β
What I've been up to:
March was a busy month, as per usual with me, but I did make some amazing memories.
In early March, I traveled to Arizona to go see a country concert with my bestie and we stayed a couple of nights with my sister-in-law. It was such a great trip and it was fun visiting my old stomping grounds by Arizona State University, where I lived for three years. I did get an Instagram post out about that, so that was a good start to my month!
As I mentioned, Easter crept up on me, and I only got a Scavenger Hunt for the kids completed, but I did make some coloring pages and shared them with family to enjoy this year. Next year, they'll be part of an Easter/Spring bundle to share with my followers and put up on my Etsy store. Baby steps...
At the end of the month, my Mom and I made a trip to Temecula for a couple of nights. It was a great mother-daughter trip for us because we got to do a little bit of gambling, had some great wine, shopped, and just enjoyed each other's company! If you're looking for a fun trip, this one might be for you. You can read about our trip on my blog post here!
I also finished up an Instagram for Beginners printable. If you struggle with Instagram and are looking to grow your audience, grab your free copy of it here! I'm thinking about offering a one hour, one-on-one with me if you need the extra help. Let me know your thoughts. Would you be interested?
What's the plan for April/May?
- Finish up my Santa Barbara Mini-Guide. I've actually been working on it since last year and I just need to finish it up! Hit reply and let me know if you would be interested in a copy and I'll forward it to you when it's done.
- I've started a really cool travel planner in Canva. I'm making one that will be a fillable PDF, for those of you who like to do things on a computer. And then I'll make a second one, with less colors (ink) that is easier to print and write on by hand.
- My friend Nilu, who owns California Tastings, in Sonoma County (Northern California), are talking about trying to do some blog posts together. Nilu's company arranges amazing trips to see wine country. We met on Instagram and have formed quite the friendship. I'm so excited to work with her and hopefully we can bridge the gap between Northern and Southern California a little bit. You can read more about Nilu here.
- Mother's Day! It'll be here before we know it, so I'm going to try and plan some special printables for Mother's Day. I'm thinking maybe a guide for San Diego folks, and maybe printables for the kids to give Mom. If you have any suggestions, let me know!
May...
May is going to be crazy busy for me, because not only does my daughter turn 23, but she's graduating from college. So I'm trying to get all of my ducks in a row now, so I'm ready. Thankfully there's still a few more days left in April to prepare.
So that's what I've been up to the last month or so. I hope to be able to share more exciting news for you next month. Maybe some spring cleaning tips, or home decor tips? And bear with me, I'm still working on getting quality information to you here. I promise the information I share will get better.
Also, are you following me on social media? I mainly post on Instagram and Pinterest, so go ahead and give me a follow! You can also check out my Etsy store. I'm adding to it every holiday!
Cheers!!
